About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist speech and language therapy assessments and interventions for stroke patients
- Provide community-based rehabilitation within patients’ homes or local settings
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary neuro rehabilitation team
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to governance standards
Requirements
- HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist
- Experience working at Band 7 level or equivalent
- Specialist knowledge of adult neurology and stroke rehabilitation
- Experience working within community settings
- Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and organisational skills
