About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to clients
- Conduct assessments, develop, and implement treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (MDT) to provide holistic care
- Educate and train clients' families and caregivers to support ongoing therapy at home
Requirements
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an SLT
- Previous NHS experience is required
- Ability to assess and manage diverse communication and swallowing disorders
- Ability to prioritise own caseload
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work effectively within an MDT
