About the role
Responsibilities
- Assess speech, language, and communication needs of children in mainstream and special schools
- Devise effective therapy plans and write SMART goals
- Prepare concise reports for the Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) process
- Provide clear recommendations based on individual child requirements
- Communicate with families, carers, and educational staff to implement recommendations and monitor progress
Requirements
- HCPC registration
- Enhanced DBS check
- Full UK driving license and access to a car
- Experience working with paediatric clients in mainstream or special school settings
- Proficiency in writing SMART goals and concise reports
- Ability to manage caseloads and meet tight deadlines
