Specialist Software Engineer (AI/ML)

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain end-to-end web and data applications that visualize AI/ML outputs
• Design and develop frontend (React JS) and backend (Python / Node / Java) components
• Integrate APIs and machine learning models developed within the lab
• Work with the UX team to ensure alignment with brand and usability standards
• Collaborate with data engineers for API design, data flow, and pipeline integration
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and automated testing
• Maintain documentation, reusable components, and version control practices

Requirements

• 7–10 years of full-stack development experience
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React JS, Node JS, Python, or Java
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architectures
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native development, preferably AWS
• Understanding of secure coding and performance optimization
• Proficiency in version control (Git) and DevOps practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building GenAI or data-driven applications integrating ML models
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Exposure to MLOps pipelines and model-serving frameworks
• Familiarity with regulated environments such as life sciences or healthcare
