Specialist, Security Operations Center

Responsibilities

• Monitor internal and external security events to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
• Conduct video patrols, monitor security camera feeds, and investigate security alarms
• Analyze security incidents to identify patterns or trends and monitor open-source media for security-related events
• Provide timely and accurate information to protect personnel, assets, intellectual property, and facilities
• Follow security policies and procedures to ensure compliance and contribute to process improvement
• Collaborate with the Protective Services Team to resolve physical security issues and maintain security awareness
• Assist in the maintenance of physical security systems and the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Document and communicate relevant information to support management decision-making processes
• Support training activities for new Specialists and third-party Security Operators

Requirements

• 2-5 years of relevant work experience in security operations or a related field
• Strong communication and organizational skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules, including overtime as necessary
• Proven ability to maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
