Specialist, Reg Reporting

Responsibilities

• Produce daily regulatory Trade & Transaction reporting within agreed timescales, ensuring high quality and adherence to standards.
• Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in EMIR, MiFID, and SFTR reporting frameworks.
• Independently resolve complex queries from internal and external stakeholders, presenting effective solutions and risk assessments.
• Ensure robust end-to-end delivery of regulatory reporting by maintaining operating model documentation, procedures, and KPIs.
• Review new business initiatives and policies to determine their impact on regulatory reporting requirements.
• Perform quality assurance on data and resolve non-standard exceptions and issues raised by clients or internal teams.

Requirements

• 5-6+ years of experience in the financial services industry, specifically focused on regulatory reporting (EMIR/MiFID).
• Strong conceptual understanding of financial instruments, asset classes, and the investment life cycle.
• Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks including SFTR, MiFID, and EMIR.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and the MS Office Suite.
• Ability to navigate data flows and system architecture within investment platforms.
• MBA or a professional qualification such as CFA or CMA with a major in Finance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data integration, reporting tools, and operational workflows.
• Familiarity with mutual fund structures and key market participants.
• Knowledge of ESG principles and regulatory frameworks.
