Specialist, Radiology

Responsibilities

• Interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies, including X-ray, ultrasound, CT, and MRI
• Provide timely, accurate reports to support clinical decision-making across departments
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Perform and/or supervise imaging-guided procedures as per clinical privileges
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and hospital protocols
• Participate in on-call coverage as required by departmental needs
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, audits, and clinical governance activities
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with JCI and DOH standards

Requirements

• Medical degree with specialization in Radiology
• Recognized Board Certification (Arab Board, Western Board, or equivalent)
• Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization experience
• Strong experience across general radiology modalities
• Eligibility for DOH licensure as Specialist Radiology
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Subspecialty exposure in specific radiology fields
