Specialist Psychiatrist

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for children and adolescents
• Manage a broad spectrum of pediatric and adolescent psychiatric conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop holistic, family-centered care plans
• Participate in on-call duties as required to support continuity of services
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical governance, and evidence-based practice

Requirements

• Board-certified Specialist Psychiatrist with recognized training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
• Experience delivering psychiatric care to pediatric and adolescent populations across varied care settings
• Strong clinical background in managing complex mental health conditions in young patients
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Eligibility for DOH Specialist licensure
