Specialist, Project Management

Responsibilities

• Manage the material budget for assigned programs and provide accurate material forecasts.
• Coordinate efforts between the Program Office, Functional Management, Supply Chain, and stakeholders to resolve program issues.
• Define task requirements, establish budgets and schedules, and implement management plans to support program execution.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing to ensure drawing releases and program schedules are met.
• Review proposals and Statements of Work (SOW) to assist with make-buy decisions and monitor material movement.
• Utilize program management tools to monitor and report on budget, schedule, and performance objectives.
• Lead or participate in Integrated Product Teams to drive efficiency and reduce non-value added costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's Degree and minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a technical Material Project Management (MPM) role or equivalent leadership capacity.
• Strong project management, negotiation, and material planning skills.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Knowledge of milestone scheduling, management tools, and financial management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent experience in Commercial and Military Aviation/Aerospace product development and production.
• Extensive experience with SAP and material processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel (pivot tables and V-Lookups) and Microsoft Project.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment focused on problem resolution.
