Specialist, Project Engineering

Responsibilities

• Provide full lifecycle Project Engineering support for proposal development, deployment, and integration efforts for the FAA Enhanced SWIM Cloud Service (ESCS) program.
• Lead project teams to meet customer requirements within allocated cost and schedule commitments.
• Manage the implementation of cost, schedule, and technical aspects of ongoing engineering projects.
• Review engineering project status and budgets, manage schedules, and prepare detailed status reports.
• Identify, track, mitigate, and manage project risks to ensure program success.
• Estimate resource and material needs and coordinate between resource managers and supervisors.
• Develop resolutions for engineering issues to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience, OR
• Graduate Degree and minimum 2 years of prior related experience, OR
• Minimum of 8 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to obtain an FAA Public Trust Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with best practices for project engineering and program execution.
• Knowledge of Systems and Network Engineering.
• Interest in implementing solutions as a managed service.
