Specialist, Program Manager - Manufacturing Design

Responsibilities

• Lead Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to design manufacturing processes and facility infrastructure for large-scale solid rocket motor production expansion.
• Ensure timely delivery of product design, production, and validation to meet customer requirements within cost and schedule targets.
• Develop management control systems to facilitate financial planning, cost analysis, and project cost account management.
• Drive technical teams toward optimal designs that maximize safety, quality, efficiency, and factory utilization.
• Develop specifications for equipment and facilities and support the commissioning of factories for full-rate production.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent delays.
• Track and report on project progress, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Perform up to 25% business travel to other L3Harris and customer sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of relevant program management or engineering experience, OR a Graduate Degree with 2+ years of experience, OR 8 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• 2+ years of experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM).
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Institute (PMI) certification.
• Experience with Solid Rocket Motor manufacturing.
• Experience with DoD contract execution.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
