Specialist Production Planning

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and monitor products through the full production cycle to meet delivery requirements
• Release work orders to the production floor based on internal master schedules, part availability, and capacity
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, program management, and shop floor teams to resolve shortages and schedule disruptions
• Manage specific projects or processes, including the delegation of work and review of others' output
• Provide guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within the job area

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of relevant experience, OR a Graduate Degree and 2 years of experience, OR 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree
• At least 2 years of experience in Planning and/or New Product Introduction (NPI)
• Experience in a production manufacturing environment (e.g., production planner, master scheduler, demand planner, or supply planner)

Preferred Qualifications

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, V-lookups, pivot tables) and ability to prepare tables, graphs, and charts
• Knowledge of Costpoint
• Strong results-oriented work ethic with high attention to detail and flexibility
