Specialist - Procurement

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and conduct quarterly supplier reviews
• Place orders for raw materials and purchased parts based on production requirements
• Monitor and adjust purchase orders using Shortage and Open Purchase Order lists
• Track shipments and coordinate with freight forwarders and warehouses
• Perform weekly stock checks to prevent overstock and minimize obsolescence risks
• Manage inventory levels for critical materials and resolve discrepancies with warehouse personnel
• Review requisitions and MRP output to order, reschedule, or cancel materials
• Maintain accurate procurement records, including costs, delivery schedules, and metrics
• Handle claims and settle debit/credit issues with vendors

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• 4-6 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles
• Proficiency in ERP software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong English language proficiency for written and oral communication
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, percentages, and proportions
• Strong analytical skills to handle problems involving multiple variables
