Specialist, Process Optimization & Data Management

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain SAP reference data including material master, part numbers, and Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Validate and cross-reference SAP data entries for production schedules and vendor information
• Identify, investigate, and correct discrepancies in SAP reference data
• Evaluate and improve data flow processes to increase operational efficiency
• Implement automated systems for managing reference data in collaboration with IT
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to optimize data management processes
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and supply chain teams to align SAP data with production requirements
• Implement and enforce data governance policies and conduct regular audits for compliance
• Generate reports on data accuracy, updates, and discrepancies
• Provide training and ongoing support to body shop and warehouse staff on SAP procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience with SAP modules (MM, PP, or WM/EWM)
• At least 4 years of experience in data management, reference data, or inventory within manufacturing or logistics
• Experience optimizing workflows and processes in a manufacturing setting
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with automotive body shop production processes, parts, and materials
• SAP certifications
• Process optimization certifications such as Six Sigma or Lean
