Specialist Podiatrist

Responsibilities

• Manage an autonomous caseload of high-risk and diabetic foot patients
• Deliver specialist podiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
• Provide advanced interventions including wound care, offloading, and ABPI assessments
• Work collaboratively with diabetic specialist nurses and tissue viability teams
• Deliver education and health promotion to patients and healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional and Trust standards

Requirements

• HCPC registration
• Degree in Podiatry
• Significant NHS experience, particularly in diabetic/high-risk foot care
• Strong clinical knowledge in neurovascular and gait assessment
• Ability to manage complex caseloads and work within multidisciplinary teams
