Responsibilities

• Meet patients with needs for cardiological specialist expertise for both new and follow-up visits
• Work with a broad spectrum of general cardiology conditions including arrhythmias, heart failure, ischemic heart disease, valve disease, and hypertension
• Perform preoperative assessments, electrical conversions, and echocardiography
• Collaborate closely with other hospital clinics, including the intensive care unit, and primary care
• Combine clinical work with development, quality work, and research if desired

Requirements

• Licensed physician with specialist competence in cardiology
• Broad general cardiology experience
• Ability to independently perform and interpret echocardiographic examinations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with pacemaker and ICD checks
• Experience in research
• Specialist competence in internal medicine
