Specialist Physician General Medicine Mobile Geriatric Rehabilitation

Responsibilities

• Medical care and responsibility for geriatric rehabilitation patients in home environments or care facilities
• Conducting admission, progress, and discharge examinations
• Medical case management and coordination of the rehabilitation process
• Close collaboration within a multidisciplinary team (physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, nursing, etc.)
• Creation of medical documentation and social medical assessments
• Participation in regular team meetings and case conferences
• Active participation in the development of this innovative care offering

Requirements

• German medical license (Approbation)
• Specialist in General Medicine, Neurology, or Physical and Rehabilitative Medicine (or equivalent experience)
• Ideally prior knowledge in geriatrics or rehabilitation
• Interest in social medicine and rehabilitative care structures
• Independent, responsible, and structured working style
• Strong social competence and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
• Valid Class B driver's license
