Responsibilities

• Perform pre-examinations for cataract surgeries
• Execute cataract surgery
• Collaborate closely with surgical staff, nurses, and optometrists to create safe and efficient patient flows
• Make independent medical assessments and clinical decisions

Requirements

• Licensed physician with specialist certification in ophthalmology
• Several years of experience as a specialist physician in eye care
• Extensive experience in cataract surgery
• Proficiency in Swedish (oral and written)
• Ability to work independently and make clinical decisions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in refractive surgery
• Experience working in both public and private eye care sectors
• Experience in quality and development work
