About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist clinical pharmacy services across mental health wards
- Conduct ward visits and provide expert medicines advice to clinical teams
- Support dispensary operations and supervise ACT pharmacy technicians
- Contribute to medicines optimisation and patient safety initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation and support clinical governance activities
Requirements
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Extensive experience in mental health pharmacy
- Previous NHS hospital pharmacy experience
- Ability to work at Band 8A level or equivalent
- Strong communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills
