About the role
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of pediatric neurological disorders, including epilepsy, developmental delays, cerebral palsy, and neuromuscular disorders.
- Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments and develop individualized treatment and long-term management plans.
- Interpret and evaluate diagnostic investigations such as EEG, MRI, CT scans, and EMG/NCS.
- Manage acute and chronic neurological conditions in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including pediatricians, neurosurgeons, and rehabilitation specialists.
- Counsel and educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis.
- Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with DHA regulations and organizational policies.
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Completion of an accredited Pediatric residency program.
- Fellowship or recognized subspecialty training in Pediatric Neurology.
- DHA Board Certification or a valid DHA Eligibility Letter as a Specialist Pediatric Neurologist.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of post-specialization experience in Pediatric Neurology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Turkish Board Certification or specialist training from Turkey.
- Proficiency in the Turkish language.
- Previous experience working in a tertiary care or internationally accredited hospital.
- Expertise in managing complex neurodevelopmental conditions.
