Specialist-PCB Designer

Responsibilities

• Design and support printed circuit boards (PCBs) for electronic products from concept through production
• Design and review PCB layouts and schematics to meet electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing requirements
• Support high-speed, high current, analogue, and mixed-signal PCB designs
• Work closely with system, hardware, and mechanical engineers to ensure proper integration
• Ensure designs meet signal integrity, EMC, safety, and reliability requirements
• Support prototype builds, testing, and issue resolution
• Liaise with manufacturing plants and suppliers to ensure producibility and cost efficiency
• Maintain design documentation, standards, and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in PCB design
• Extensive knowledge of ECAD tools and high-speed design practices
• Experience with Siemens EDA Xpedition tool set (including Layout, Designer, CES, EDM, Fablink, and Library Manager)
• Detailed knowledge of the PCB Design cycle, including Design for Testing (DFT), Fabrication, and Assembly (DFA)
• Experience with multi-layer, sequential, and HDI technology
• Experience working with global cross-functional teams
