Specialist Packaging

Responsibilities

• Coordinate packing room machine reliability, process improvements, and equipment maintenance
• Implement corrective action plans to reduce waste and provide quarterly reports to management
• Develop and track systematic maintenance schedules to ensure SQF compliance
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment including conveyors, scales, and packing machines
• Manage parts inventory and coordinate with Engineering and Maintenance teams
• Assess machine rates for current and new products and assist with CapEx design and implementation
• Support plant SQF and KPI goals, including continuous improvement and foreign material investigations
• Provide training and feedback to PMO staff to improve skill sets and troubleshooting capabilities

Requirements

• 3-5 years of snack food manufacturing machine experience or equivalent
• High School Education
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Green Belt certificate or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to work the night shift

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field
• Certifications in Heat and Control, Hayssen, or Woodman
• Familiarity with Form, Fill and Seal baggers
• Experience with Ishida and Yamato scales
• Training in Video Jet or Metal Detection
