Specialist - Obstetrics & Gynaecology

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic healthcare in both in-patient and out-patient settings.
• Perform surgical procedures for gynecologic and obstetric conditions in the operating room and OPD.
• Manage delivery room duties, including patient admission, history review, and performing spontaneous or operative deliveries.
• Provide emergency coverage and respond promptly to obstetric emergency consultations.
• Conduct and interpret ultrasound examinations and fetal heart rate monitoring.
• Collaborate with midwives, physicians, and other department heads to ensure high standards of care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding medical conditions and treatment plans.
• Support continuous quality improvement and adhere to hospital policies and medical ethics.

Requirements

• Graduation from an approved Medical School.
• Completion of an approved Obstetric residency program with specialty certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a full-time Ob-Gyn practitioner.
• Valid DHA license to practice in Dubai, UAE.
• Excellent command of oral and written English.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and medical staff.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in urogynecology and laparoscopy.
• Knowledge of the Arabic language.
