About the Company

At OrthoCenter in Gothenburg, we provide elective highly specialized orthopedic care with the entire care chain in one building - clinic, surgery, ward, and rehab. We are approximately 95 employees across various professions, including doctors, nurses, assistant nurses, sterilization technicians, physiotherapists, medical secretaries, and economists.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with nurses in the ward and operating departments
• Prepare patients before surgery, including premedication, IV insertion, and surgical site preparation
• Provide postoperative care until patients are ready for discharge to the ward or home
• Maintain fast and efficient patient flows and continuously improve work routines

Requirements

• Specialist education in anesthesia or intensive care
• Ability to work Monday through Friday
• Availability to work on both the ward and the recovery department (UVA)
