Specialist, New Equipment Project Management

Responsibilities

• Oversee the coordination of multiple new equipment installation projects to ensure efficiency, cost containment, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure flawless project execution by meeting schedules, budgets, technical standards, safety regulations, and customer expectations.
• Coordinate all contract activities from the project award stage through to customer handover and financial close.
• Partner with sales and field operations teams to ensure installations align with contract documents and project scope.
• Communicate project progress regularly to branch, regional, and senior leadership.
• Act as a primary point of contact for general contractors, owners, architects, and regulatory agencies regarding design and scheduling.
• Manage construction process duties including billing, payments, vendor management, RFIs, and change order optimization.
• Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings and contractual documents.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in elevator project management or construction.
• Familiarity with cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Ability to read and review architectural and structural drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft software within technical environments.
• Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
• High school diploma required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically within the elevator or escalator industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or business administration.
