Specialist, Materials Management

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely procurement for operational activities
• Track and manage the software license renewal process to ensure regulatory compliance
• Coordinate the disposition of surplus or obsolete items to operational sites, government agencies, or DRMO
• Maintain positive relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality
• Assist in managing the procurement budget and making cost-effective purchasing decisions
• Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and government regulations
• Maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions, licenses, and disposition activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience (or Graduate Degree with 2 years experience, or 8 years of related experience in lieu of a degree)
• Active U.S. DoD Secret security clearance
• 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the government or defense sector

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Security+ CE Certification
• Experience with GOLDesp for asset/material management
• Proficiency in procurement management software
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
