Specialist, Manufacturing Technologies, AI-Enabled Manufacturing Innovation (IVI)

Responsibilities

• Support the design, development, and deployment of digital and data-enabled solutions across Amgen’s global manufacturing network.
• Act as a bridge between manufacturing subject matter experts and technical development teams to translate processes into digital requirements.
• Provide subject matter expertise in domains such as MES, finite scheduling, sensing, and performance management.
• Support the Innovation Velocity Interface (IVI) lifecycle, including intake, requirements definition, MVP development, and scaling.
• Ensure all digital solutions are compliant with GxP environments, incorporating data integrity and validation requirements.
• Participate in knowledge transfer, onboarding, and stabilization activities to ensure successful technology adoption at manufacturing sites.

Requirements

• Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree.
• 8-13 years of professional experience.
• Expertise in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), finite scheduling, or manufacturing data systems.
• Proven experience translating complex manufacturing processes into structured digital or system requirements.
• Strong understanding of GxP environments, validation concepts, and data integrity principles.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience specifically in biopharmaceutical manufacturing or related technical roles.
• Deep expertise in specific systems such as Körber PAS-X, SAP PP/DS, or S/4HANA.
• Experience with manufacturing performance management, KPI frameworks, or digital control towers.
• Fluency in modern product management practices, including roadmapping and user-centered design.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with data engineers, developers, and UX/UI designers.
