About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the frontline partner for Operations, providing day-to-day user support for manufacturing digital systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues for systems including Syncade (MES), Apprentice Tempo (MES), DeltaV, and Aveva SCADA.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Quality, and IT to restore services quickly and minimize production impact in a GMP environment.
  • Maintain support documentation such as runbooks, KB articles, and SOPs, and provide targeted user coaching.
  • Execute standard change-control activities and monitor system health to propose corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
  • Contribute to compliance activities, including deviations, investigations, and periodic reviews.
  • Mentor junior team members through shadowing, ticket reviews, and documentation feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • Ability to work first, second, or third shifts to support 24/7 operations.
  • Must be site-based in Norwood, MA (not eligible for remote work).
  • Must hold current US work authorization without the need for future sponsorship.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to various stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Depth in two or more systems: Tempo, Syncade, Aveva SCADA, DeltaV, or BMS.
  • Working understanding of cGMP manufacturing operations, GAMP, and CSV/change-control practices.
  • Demonstrated strength in incident triage, root-cause analysis, and technical documentation.
  • Experience coaching or mentoring junior engineers.
  • Continuous-improvement orientation with experience in automation or standardization initiatives.
