Specialist, JIS Material Planner

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with suppliers to establish a strong supply chain and ensure material availability at production plants
• Develop, design, and implement planning concepts and projects for JIS Disposition
• Support suppliers in JIS processes including transportation, infrastructure, packaging, and scheduling
• Coordinate and enforce JIT process activities such as parts lists and disposition releases
• Identify potential supply chain risks and develop cross-departmental countermeasures
• Maintain data for part inventory management and monitor IT process stability
• Optimize material flow and delivery programs with JIT suppliers

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in automotive production and logistics (JIT/JIS, supplier management)
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or related field
• Experience in automotive logistics supplier management focused on JIS processes
• Strong technical skills in networking, hardware, software systems, and process design
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel as required
