Specialist IS Business Systems Analyst

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements elicitation and process discovery sessions with manufacturing SMEs and business stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlog items.
• Partner with product owners and delivery teams to support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and defect triage.
• Document current-state and future-state workflows, business rules, and application behavior.
• Develop test plans, UAT scenarios, and regression test cases to validate requirements coverage.
• Coordinate requirements and testing for changes involving upstream and downstream manufacturing systems and data flows.
• Manage defect intake and resolution follow-up with development teams and external vendors.
• Support release readiness activities, including stakeholder alignment, communications, and adoption planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 9-12 years of experience in business systems analysis, product analysis, or functional application delivery.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder alignment.
• Hands-on experience with Agile delivery models using JIRA and Confluence.
• Proven experience coordinating UAT, regression testing, and defect management.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing scheduling, planning, or operations workflows.
• Ability to translate complex plant operations needs into functional requirements for technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in finite scheduling, production planning, predictive maintenance, or plant execution.
• Experience with manufacturing scheduling software, such as SAP PP/DS or similar platforms.
• Experience in biotech, pharma, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) or related execution-system platforms.
• Business analysis, Agile, SAFe, or product management certifications.
