Specialist IS Architect - Salesforce

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain IS architecture principles, standards, and reference architectures
• Lead architecture design for complex, cross-domain initiatives and transformations
• Review and approve solution designs to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate strategy into architecture
• Identify architectural risks, gaps, and optimization opportunities
• Contribute to technology roadmaps and target-state architecture definitions
• Support architecture governance, design reviews, and decision forums

Requirements

• 8-13 years of experience in Information Systems / IT, including architecture roles
• Strong experience in configuring, developing, and deploying with the Salesforce platform
• Strong background in enterprise, solution, and integration architecture
• Working knowledge of application, data, integration, and platform architecture concepts
• Experience aligning technology solutions with business and platform requirements
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
• Experience working in large, complex enterprise environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Experience designing and solutioning for Salesforce applications using technologies like AWS or Databricks
• Architecture certifications such as TOGAF or equivalent
• Experience participating in or leading architecture review boards
• Ability to operate independently as a recognized architecture specialist
• Proven ability to influence technology direction and provide mentorship to delivery teams
