Specialist – IP (Trademark)

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update trademark records, deadlines, and portfolio details in the docketing system (e.g., ANAQUA) to ensure audit-ready data.
• Support renewal and recordal activities, including ownership updates, licensing recordals, and address changes.
• Process incoming correspondence related to trademark matters and route items to internal stakeholders or external counsel.
• Prepare, submit, or coordinate filings with IP Offices and external counsel for routine formalities and documentation.
• Perform daily docket reviews to ensure timely follow-up on upcoming deadlines, extensions, and prosecution stages.
• Support the drafting and management of Power of Attorney documents, declarations, and procedural forms.
• Conduct quality checks on filings, updates, and docket entries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Generate customized docket and portfolio reports to support ongoing operations and decision-making.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Legal, Marketing, Regulatory, and Commercial departments.

Requirements

• Graduate degree in any discipline.
• Up to 6 years of experience in trademark operations, docketing, prosecution support, or IP formalities.
• Experience with global trademark workflows, including renewals and recordals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong understanding of trademark terminology and prosecution stages.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with IP docketing systems, specifically Anaqua.
• IP-relevant certifications in intellectual property law or paralegal studies.
• Experience working with external counsel and interpreting IP office records.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under strict deadlines.
