Specialist - General Surgery (Breast Surgeon)

Responsibilities

• Provide expert medical care for ambulatory and hospitalized patients, including pre- and post-operative management.
• Perform surgical procedures within the scope of clinical competence and hospital privileging.
• Conduct outpatient services in the OPD and attend to medical emergencies.
• Order diagnostic laboratory studies and X-ray examinations to determine diagnosis and prescribe therapy.
• Provide consultation services to other physicians and specialists within the hospital.
• Adhere to JCI standards and hospital regulations regarding patient care and safety.
• Participate in quality assurance activities, including morbidity and mortality reviews.

Requirements

• Medical school graduation with a completed one-year internship and three-year residency.
• Certification by the American Board of Surgical Medicine or the Royal College of Surgeons (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in general surgery.
• Valid DHA license to practice in Dubai, UAE.
• Excellent command of oral and written English.
• Strong clinical judgment and professional leadership skills.
