Specialist – General Ledger

Responsibilities

• Analyze various types of accounts within the GL Module
• Review and prepare GL entries including amortizations, accruals, and allocations
• Review reconciliations of sub-modules against the trial balance
• Reconcile and resolve intercompany variances
• Extract reports from reporting tools to perform analysis and provide commentary
• Prepare balance sheet schedules in accordance with GAAP requirements
• Support audits by providing transaction analysis and reconciliations
• Assist Corporate Accounting and Tax teams with timely statutory filings
• Collaborate with internal teams to close the GL Module in the ERP system

Requirements

• M Com, MBA (Finance), CMA (Intermediate), or ACA (Intermediate)
• Deep understanding of accounting standards such as US GAAP, IFRS, or Ind AS
• Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP systems
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a complex environment with strict deadlines
• Good written and oral communication skills in English
• Ability to work in shifts and as part of a collaborative team
