Specialist Gastroenterology & Hepatology Physician

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose patients with gastrointestinal and liver diseases
• Manage complex conditions including hepatitis, cirrhosis, inflammatory bowel diseases, and gastrointestinal cancers
• Perform and interpret endoscopic procedures and other diagnostic tests
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient management
• Educate patients and their families on disease management and lifestyle modifications
• Maintain accurate medical records complying with clinical and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Medical degree with specialization in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, or related fields
• Board certification or equivalent qualification in Gastroenterology & Hepatology preferred
• Valid medical license to practice in Sharjah, UAE
• Demonstrated experience in managing gastrointestinal and liver disorders
• Proficiency in performing endoscopic and diagnostic procedures
• Strong clinical judgment and patient management skills
