About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support the Future of Materials Program through activity coordination, including team calendars, milestones, and scheduling.
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders to strengthen business engagement efforts and program programming.
  • Coordinate with internal business teams and engagement focal points to ensure alignment with institutional priorities.
  • Identify and prioritize global and regional events for impactful multistakeholder session contributions.
  • Support the delivery of the "Transitioning Materials Systems" initiative through convenings, dialogues, and insight generation.
  • Manage a continuous pipeline of individuals to recruit for various program communities.
  • Integrate community insights into the broader outputs of the Future of Materials program.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in engineering, physical sciences, economics, sustainable development, international relations, public policy, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience working within multistakeholder contexts.
  • Familiarity with global materials topics and the international landscape.
  • Proven ability in event planning, coordination, and stakeholder engagement across different cultures and sectors.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency with information technology tools for research and stakeholder mapping.
  • High level of curiosity, analytical capacity, and comfort working with ambiguity.
