Specialist, Fund Administrator

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end fund administration, investor accounting, and financial reporting for multi-billion dollar hedge fund clients.
• Lead daily and month-end NAV close activities, including journal entry processing, accrual support, and automated/manual reconciliations.
• Manage quarterly and year-end financial statement deliverables in accordance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and Broker Dealer requirements.
• Review investor capital balances, profit and loss results, and management fee/performance allocation calculations.
• Serve as a senior technical advisor and escalation point for complex month-end close and financial reporting issues.
• Identify risks and control gaps, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients regarding deliverables, reporting changes, and audit feedback.

Requirements

• 10+ years of accounting experience with a strong emphasis on financial reporting.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Workiva.
• In-depth industry knowledge of hedge fund services and investor accounting.
