Specialist Electronic Component Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of electronic components, including selection, qualification, change control, and obsolescence management.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with component suppliers, hardware design, purchasing, and production teams.
• Execute part release activities and manage Change Requests (CRs) using PLM tools.
• Handle Product Change Notifications (PCNs) and Supplier Change Requests (SCRs), including conducting risk assessments.
• Analyze test results based on ZVEI Matrix and AEC-Q standards.
• Recommend alternative components (FFF Format) and provide expert guidance on component selection.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements such as RoHS, REACH, PFAS, and AEC-Q.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or an equivalent qualification in electronics.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or hardware development.
• Knowledge of material compliance standards including RoHS, REACH, PFAS, and AEC-Q.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Ability to work with an independent, analytical, and structured approach.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with PLM tools such as Windchill, Silicon Expert, or EDM Library Cockpit.
• Background in both electronic and mechanical component technologies.
• Experience in risk management and performing change management assessments.
