Specialist - ECAD PCB Librarian

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the PCB component library, including symbols, footprints, and 3D models, within the ECAD system.
• Create and validate new schematic symbols and PCB footprints based on datasheets and supplier information.
• Ensure library quality, consistency, and compliance with company design standards and industry guidelines.
• Support PCB design teams by providing accurate library parts and resolving technical library-related issues.
• Maintain strict naming conventions, documentation, and change control for all library elements to ensure data consistency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of PCB design and ECAD library management processes.
• Proficiency with ECAD tools, specifically Siemens Xpedition and EDM.
• Deep understanding of electronic components, packages, and the ability to interpret technical datasheets.
• Familiarity with PCB design standards and industry best practices.
