Specialist, Design

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, and related design documentation
• Prepare drawing packages and related documentation for design reviews
• Use Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD to support mechanical and electro-mechanical design activities
• Coordinate with engineering and product development teams to ensure documentation accuracy and quality
• Ensure design documentation complies with customer, military, and internal requirements
• Support the development, integration, fielding, and operational support of flight test instrumentation systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience; OR 2-year degree and 8 years of experience; OR Graduate Degree and 2 years of experience; OR 8 years of related experience
• Active U.S. Secret Clearance
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ASME Y14.100 and ASME Y14.5 standards
• Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar CAD tools
• Experience with Autodesk Vault or similar PDM software
• Familiarity with mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
