Specialist Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist specialists with complex procedures including surgeries, root canals, and implant placement
• Maintain a clean operating field using suction, irrigation, and retraction techniques
• Prepare and mix specialty materials such as bone grafts and impression materials
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot specialty equipment like 3D/CBCT scanners
• Ensure sterilization and infection control according to regulatory standards
• Take and process high-quality dental radiographs
• Deliver pre- and post-operative patient education
• Document clinical findings and procedures in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Manage inventory of specialized supplies
• Greet guests and prepare treatment rooms

Requirements

• Active Registered Dental Assistant License
• Current CPR certification
• Minimum of 1 year of dental experience
• Willingness to travel within assigned areas
