Specialist, Cyber Infrastructure Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Red Hat Linux systems in both physical and virtual environments
• Manage and maintain Windows systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Utilize virtualization technologies including KVM, VMware, vSphere/vCenter, and containers such as OpenShift and Docker
• Implement and maintain security controls in compliance with DoD security frameworks and RMF requirements
• Perform hands-on ACAS tasks, including building virtual machines, performing vulnerability scans, and supporting remediation
• Monitor system performance and resource usage to ensure business continuity and network resilience
• Manage network protocols and services including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, and SNMP

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or Graduate Degree with 2+ years of experience, or 8 years of equivalent related experience
• Active Secret Clearance
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 certification (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, or higher)

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Linux Certifications such as RedHat (RHCSA or RHCE) or CompTIA Linux+
• Experience with continuous integration, build management, and automated test frameworks
• Experience integrating and administering cross-domain systems
• Experience utilizing virtualization technologies and backup solutions
