Specialist, Cost Accounting

Responsibilities

• Determine Social Security and INFONAVIT quota payments for work centers in Mexico
• Notify IMSS of registrations, terminations, and salary changes within legal timeframes
• Reconcile Social Security accounting accounts in Mexico
• Maintain and update area KPIs related to Social Security
• Respond to information requests and payment requirements from IMSS and INFONAVIT
• Follow up on information required for IMSS and INFONAVIT audit compliance
• Prepare and present the Annual Declaration of the Occupational Risk Insurance Premium
• Perform preventive clarification of debts on the INFONAVIT portal
• Provide Social Security and INFONAVIT support to HR leaders across different Mexican work centers
• Forecast quota payments to share with the Treasury department

Requirements

• Degree in Public Accounting, Administration, or a related field
• Knowledge of Mexican Federal Labor Law, Social Security Law, and INFONAVIT
• Intermediate English proficiency
• Ability to travel as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in SUA, IDSE, IMSS Portal, and INFONAVIT Portal
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to learn SAP Accounting, SAP Payroll, and SuccessFactors
