Specialist - Controllership

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct US GAAP and local GAAP accounting treatment for hosted activities
• Perform reconciliations, journal preparation, and reporting for pension, assets, and investments
• Maximize potential from Oracle and BlackLine systems
• Ensure adherence to AECOM policies and compliance with SOX narratives and controls
• Complete monthly close processes accurately and on a timely basis
• Liaise with internal and external auditors and GBS towers
• Identify and implement process improvements and operational efficiencies

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of accounting and finance experience
• At least 1 year of General Accounting experience
• 1 year of experience in a global organization
• Technical accounting knowledge with a focus on US GAAP preferred
• Strong English communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with Oracle and BlackLine preferred
• Ability to work effectively in cross-cultural, virtual team environments

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification
