About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Lean and Six Sigma process improvement projects from conception through completion
  • Analyze production processes, workflow, and performance data to identify opportunities for process optimization
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and develop corrective actions to address manufacturing issues
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation
  • Train and mentor employees on continuous improvement tools, methodologies, and mindset
  • Collaborate with production, quality, engineering, and maintenance teams to drive improvements
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess impact of improvement initiatives
  • Communicate project status, outcomes, and recommendations to management and stakeholders
  • Lead the execution of action plans to ensure timely completion and resource allocation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree and 2 years experience, or 8 years of related experience
  • Proven knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • Green Belt or Black Belt Certification in Lean or Six Sigma
  • Experience with data analysis software such as Minitab or PowerBi
  • Working knowledge of ERP/MES systems
  • Experience in automotive, aerospace, or electronics manufacturing environments
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or other quality management systems
