Specialist/Consultant Spine Surgeon

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose patients with spinal conditions through clinical assessments and diagnostic imaging
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans encompassing surgical and non-surgical options
• Perform complex spinal surgeries, emphasizing minimally invasive and innovative techniques
• Manage pre-operative preparation and post-operative care to optimize patient recovery and rehabilitation
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, and physiotherapists
• Educate patients and families on condition management, surgical procedures, and recovery protocols
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Residency training completed in Orthopedic Surgery or Neurosurgery
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in spine surgery
• Expertise in a broad spectrum of spine surgical procedures, particularly minimally invasive techniques
• Fluency in English
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Spine Surgery
