Specialist/Consultant Endodontist

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage diseases of the dental pulp and periapical tissues
• Perform high-precision root canal treatments (RCT) and retreatments
• Conduct complex endodontic procedures, including management of calcified canals and curved roots
• Perform endodontic microsurgery (apicoectomy) using dental operating microscopes
• Manage dental trauma cases, including pulp injuries and root fractures
• Collaborate with general dentists, prosthodontists, and oral surgeons for comprehensive treatment planning
• Provide pain management and emergency dental care related to pulpal conditions
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control and sterilization protocols
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records in line with regulatory standards

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience post-specialty qualification
• Recognised specialist qualification from the UK (MEndo/equivalent), Canada (Royal College), Australia, Arab Board, or MDS/FCPS Endodontics
• Eligibility for DHA, DOH, or MOH licensing in the UAE
