Specialist/Consultant Endodontist

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage diseases of the dental pulp and periapical tissues
• Perform high-precision root canal treatments (RCT) and retreatments
• Conduct complex endodontic procedures, including management of calcified canals and curved roots
• Perform endodontic microsurgery (apicoectomy) using dental operating microscopes
• Manage dental trauma cases, including pulp injuries and root fractures
• Collaborate with general dentists, prosthodontists, and oral surgeons for comprehensive treatment planning
• Provide pain management and emergency dental care related to pulpal conditions
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and strictly follow infection control protocols
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and preventive oral hygiene

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience post-specialty qualification
• Recognised specialist qualification such as MEndo, Royal College, MDS, or equivalent
• Eligibility for DHA, DOH, or MOH licensing
• Proficiency in using dental operating microscopes and digital radiography
