Specialist Colon and Rectal Surgeon

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as colonoscopies and imaging studies
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical evaluation
• Perform a variety of surgical interventions, including minimally invasive and complex colorectal surgeries
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on colorectal health, treatment options, and recovery
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care
• Maintain accurate, detailed patient records in adherence to healthcare regulations

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with a valid medical license
• Completion of General Surgery residency and fellowship training in Colon and Rectal Surgery
• Proven experience in the surgical management of colorectal diseases
• Proficiency in both open and minimally invasive colorectal surgical techniques
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient and team interactions
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary private healthcare environment
