About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures including administration, imaging, and image processing
  • Operate GE gamma cameras and associated equipment
  • Conduct venepuncture, cannulation, and administration of diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including radiographers and nuclear medicine physicians
  • Maintain high standards of imaging quality and adhere to radiation safety protocols
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and NHS protocols

Requirements

  • Degree in Nuclear Medicine, Radiography, or equivalent
  • Proven experience operating GE gamma cameras and nuclear medicine imaging
  • Expertise in venepuncture, cannulation, and radiopharmaceutical administration
  • Strong communication and patient-handling skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications

  • HCPC, RCT, or AHCS registration
